Students from our Levels 1 and 2 Medical Science Academy returned from their three-day camp today, 6th July 2018. Within minutes of leaving the camp the Piha Mill Camp and Grounds Manager Pieter Kruger sent this:
"My name is Pieter and I am the onsite manager at Piha Mill Camp and an employee of One Big Adventure. I hosted your students the last three days. I have been out at the camp for six years now and I have hosted well over 300 groups while out here. I have seen a lot of schools come through our camp. I would like to believe that I have a pretty good insight on NZ youth and the school system.
This would be the first e-mail to a school I have ever sent as I believe credit is due where credit is due. Allow me to congratulate you on the excellence of not only your teachers, but on your students as well. The teachers are highly professional, friendly and greatly respected by the students. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with them. I would especially like to single out Jane Coup. What a leader she is.
The students not only kept the camp rules 100% (the first for any school ever), but their respect for elders and politeness is beyond reproach. It was a breath of fresh air to witness respectful youth.
If this is the kind of young adults your College is producing then there is hope for our nation yet.
Dear Madam/Sir, I salute you! "
Great to get this feedback! We are very proud of our students.
