Property Manager

Waitakere College is a successful, co-educational multi-cultural Secondary School located in the heart of West Auckland.

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our dynamic team at Waitakere College.

Reporting to the Principal you will optimise opportunities to develop and execute the Property Strategies required that will drive property management activities across our school efficiently and cost effectively.

This is a 40 hour per week full time position.

The role will have overall responsibility for property portfolio management that includes facility and maintenance, lease and Asset Management and dealing with external agencies including the Ministry of Education. Other duties will include staff management of a small team.


To be considered you will have:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills as this role will interact at various levels with both our internal and external stakeholders
  • Have at least 3 years sound Property Management experience
  • Ideally have solid knowledge of property networks and strong commercial nous
  • A track record of identifying and analysing issues/problems and developing solutions
  • Familiarity with the Education Sector an advantage
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Ideally Tertiary qualified in business/Property and/or Education
