Our school has partnered with SchoolDocs to maintain, update and review our school policies.

Policies are regularly reviewed and updated by experts to ensure they reflect changes in New Zealand legislation, Ministry of Education guidelines, and feedback from school reviews. SchoolDocs also responds to significant events and requests from schools, with ongoing reviews by their team. Before any changes are implemented, our school board can review and comment on proposed updates. While SchoolDocs provides core policies, Waitākere College customises them with specific details, such as our charter and behaviour management procedures and our core values of Learning, Care and Respect.

Policies are available online, making them easily accessible to parents and whānau, board members, staff, and the wider school community.
