ISC Room 6 - Nominated by Mrs Meredith

This ISC class of awesome young men has displayed amazing representation of the ISC and Waitakere College when they are offsite at our weekly FAM and Dance programmes. Their outstanding behaviour is a true reflection of The Waitākere Way—showing Learning, Caring, and Respect in everything they do each week. Throughout the sessions, students demonstrate a positive attitude towards learning. They fully engage with the activities, listen attentively, and give their best effort.
Their caring and respect for each other are shown particularly when they do their solo pieces at Dance. It is truly a special time each Wednesday.
Their manners, cooperation, and self-management are consistently noted and appreciated by staff and community facilitators alike.

10OPED - Nominated by Miss Gugich

This Year 10 class shows a strong work ethic not only through the physical side of learning but also through the theory. The students are always early to class, ready to start the morning off in a positive environment of PE. Asking questions when needed shows their positive engagement throughout the lesson. Lastly, the students are able to adapt to the challenges that come their way, whether this is through questioning or making the activity that much more challenging.

This class is excellent at the 5 in 5. They always start each lesson excellently, settling into their mahi straight away, quietly and diligently. Whether it is period 1 or period 5, they always complete the workset for their lesson, and show great manawanui when faced with new challenges.
