FIAFIA Night  - Monday 6th March 2023

Term One always sees our school overflowing with colourful costumes, beautiful singing, beating drums and elegant dancing in the afternoons and into the early evenings. This year, four cultural groups held practices over the last 2 and a half weeks to prepare for the annual WC FIAFIA night and the  ASB Polyfest.  A great turnout of courageous students, especially our visiting Japanese International students who performed in our Filipino group.
Thank you also to our MCs for the night, Head Students: Cheshna and Greer who did a fantastic job. 

Cultural groups:

• Nga Pae Maunga o Waitākere - staff in charge Whaea Pearl Snowden.

• Cook Island group - staff in charge: Miss Thelma Henry and Ms Tekura Iripa 

• Filipino group – staff in charge: Mr Tiyani Yu and Miss Samantha Smith

• Sāmoan group – staff in charge: Ms Wez Itamua

Huge congratulations to all the Staff, Tutors and especially the Students for your hard work over the short period to put on an amazing evening for all our families and close friends.
