After a couple of years of not having Year 9 Outdoor Education, it was great to finally get the Year 9 classes out to Cornwallis for a day of fun with their Peer Mentors.
Each day 3 Year 9 classes went out and were led by their Peer Mentors on a number of team building activities. Competition within the core classes added another layer as teams battled it out for a top prize. After lunch, students were treated to a lovely high tide swim and if the conditions were right there was even a chance to have a go on the paddle boards.
A massive shout out to the Peer mentors for doing an amazing job on the day running the activities and also to the Year 9 Tutor Class teachers and staff for helping with supervision throughout the day. A successful week of Outdoor Education and mostly due to the Year 9 students having such positive attitudes on the trip. Well done Year 9's!
