The Year 12 Medical Science students were invited to Waitākere Hospital for an exclusive tour around the emergency unit. They were split into groups and got to see what goes on behind the scenes.
Students were then able to do some hands-on activities facilitated by healthcare professionals. For example, they learned how to treat a patient with a bleeding wound, broken bones and CPR.
