Peer Mentors in Action

Our college is richer and stronger because of our dedicated year 12 & 13 Peer Mentors. These leaders meet with a year 9 tutor class each week to ensure our new students feel welcome.

Our Peer Mentors work diligently to build the skills of our year 9s to help them cope with the rigours of college life.

These leaders are trained weekly by members of the Graham Dingle Foundation. They dedicate this time to building their own leadership and social skills to become positive role models for our year 9 students.

The work of the Graeme Dingle Foundation is so important for our young people who need positive examples and the opportunity to be the same for others.

Many of our Peer Mentors were inspired and had such role models when they started this College; they know the value of giving back to pay it forward.

The positive relationships and skill development of our Peer Mentoring programme is part of how we foster our values of respect, caring, and learning. Peer Mentors play an essential role in strengthening our college to make sure we are better than before.
