Building Academy Level 2/3, is suitable for those students serious about a career in the construction trades. Students are involved in practical, real life building projects and complete a component of the New Zealand Certificate of Allied Building and Construction. 

Level 3 Building Academy operates at NZMA on a Tuesday 2 pm-6 pm. Level 2 Building Academy is timetabled within normal school hours. Both levels of the Building  Academy study offsite at a tertiary provider one day per week through AWVA (Auckland West Vocational Academies). Level 3 Building Academy students have the opportunity to participate in work experience.
