10 Te Henga were last week's winner's and this week is 12SVA!

12SVA Nominated by Staff Morgan (pictured above)
The Year 12 Services Academy attended Services Academy Bushcraft Course last week. It is always one of the academy’s most challenging courses not only because of the distances and pack weights but also the chilly days and weeks wet weather. The Academy has trained since the first term with heavy packs, equipment carries and arrived at Woodhill Forest knowing every location in advance via detailed map studies in class. Detailed preparation was key this year at Bushcraft and the same attention to detail, preparation and study is key for everything else we do this year.

10 Te Henga are an awesome class to teach. I have been so impressed with their collective work ethic, especially when we are completing assessments in class. The akonga in this class demonstrate a strong desire to strengthen their skills and knowledge in Social Studies. I have confidence that this class will continue to achieve well in Social Studies and will finish the year with skills that will help them to find success when they enter the senior school. I have high expectations of this class, which they sometimes think means I don't enjoy teaching them.
I really do enjoy my lessons with 10 Te Henga, and I appreciate their commitment to learning in my lessons.
