This class has exceeded expectations and they are ahead of the Year 9 Programme by 1.5 weeks. Not only that, but while watching the Traditional film 'Belle and Sebastien' that takes place during WWII, the students showed such interest in the history of Europe, caring for the French people and showed empathy towards the soldiers. I've shown this film many times, but the rich conversation that came from a simple French movie was heartwarming. 

I look forward to seeing these young people become an integral part of our Waitākere 'famille'.
