On Friday the 4th of November the U15 Boys & Girls Rugby 7’s teams took part in the Auckland Rugby U15 Secondary School 7’s tournament, held at Waitematā Rugby Club. It was a new experience for both teams, especially the girls with the majority of the team not having played any contact sports prior to the tournament. Both teams played well throughout the tournament with outstanding performances by Jaden Lauvale and Azaria Williams in the girl's team and Senio Afamasaga and Noah Buckleigh-Dickson also had outstanding tournaments for the boy's team.
A great day was had by all involved. We look forward to the 2023 Rugby 7’s season.
