We were finally able to host a 'Big Day In' event for our junior students to conclude their school year, for the first time since 2019.
The day featured wet and dry tabloid activities run by teachers and 2024 Prefects who volunteered to participate. Year 9 and 10 students competed for points to win the Top Year 9 and 10 class titles, which were awarded to 9 Huia and 10 Rumaki, respectively. 

It was a fantastic and enjoyable way to end the school year, followed by a house haka competition won by Manawanui!
We wrapped up the day with a final whole-school haka to bid farewell to our departing 2023 staff. 

We extend our gratitude to Ms Tai Tin for organising this event, and the senior students and staff who helped run the games, making it an exceptionally fun day.
