Tennis Season Ends on a High Note

The junior tennis season came to a close on a rainy Saturday morning. Unfortunately, the school courts were too slippery for the girls to play, but the boys finished up their season in style at the beautiful Glen Eden Tennis Club.
We extend our sincerest thanks to parent Nicole Snook for organising the alternative venue for the boys and for providing outstanding help throughout the season.
We would also like to express our immense gratitude to Mr Lourenz for his efforts in getting tennis off the ground at the college. Last year, we had no tennis teams, but at the end of this term, we have a competitive junior boys team (with reserves) and a junior girls tennis team consisting of girls who are all new to tennis and have already recorded two wins in their grade!

We would like to thank Mr. Yu and Miss Li for all their help with the girl's tennis team this term. The junior boys' team finished their season undefeated after winning their pool and defeating St Kentigern College on Saturday when the pools crossed over. It has been a pleasure to witness the boys' improvement throughout the last year, led by Lachlan Snook and Ethan Hintz, who were the only club tennis players when the team initially started.
Pictured here is the boy's team with coach Mr Lourenz and the supportive parents at the game cheering the boys on.

Congratulations and well done to all involved!
