Last Wednesday, 12 students from Years 9 to 13 proudly represented Waitākere College at the College Sport Auckland Cross Country Championships. Competing against schools from across the region, our students showed outstanding determination and resilience as they tackled a challenging course made even tougher by wet, muddy, and windy conditions. Despite the weather, every runner pushed through to complete their race, demonstrating true grit and school spirit.

A huge thank you to the dedicated staff and supportive parents who braved the elements to cheer on our athletes—it made a real difference on the day!
