This year, we have a very limited number of out of zone enrolment places available for Year 9 students. These placements will be drawn by ballot and limited to 40 students.

Applications for enrolment will be drawn in the following order of priority; 

1.       Students accepted into a special programme run by the school, Te Rito Rūmaki o Waitākere.

2.       Siblings of current students.

3.       Siblings of former students.

4.       Children of former students.

5.       Children of board employees and board members.

6.       All other students.

• To enter the ballot, please complete our online enrolment form and provide required documents to the school before 4 pm Wednesday, 27th August 2025.  
• Only enrolments that have completed part one of our online enrolment form will be entered into the ballot.
• All applicants will be advised of the outcome of the ballot once it is drawn on Wednesday, 3rd   September, and successful applicants will be required to confirm their placement by Wednesday 10th September.
• Enrolment interviews will be held with successful students after the ballot.   

To adhere to the conditions of the ballot, we are unable to accept any Out of Zone enrolments after the close of the ballot - even if you have an existing child at Waitākere College.
