The last two weeks at school have been more exciting than ever, especially with the fun of sliming our teachers! The first victims were the Year 9 Deans, Whaea Kate and Mr. Brain, who were doused in colourful sludge in front of a very enthusiastic Year 9 assembly.
It didn’t take long before we reached the next milestone, resulting in Mr. Mulcahy getting slimed the following Monday at assembly. Soon after, six of the Year 9 and 10 Deans were slimed together under the bubble when we reached our fundraising target of $14000.
During lunchtime today, we celebrated a significant milestone that attracted hundreds of students to watch Mr Curtis take the stage. He faced not one, but two slime buckets, along with a generous amount of colored chalk tossed at him! Our next goal is to reach $17000 by Monday, and if we do, Mrs Fugmann will be next!
Our School Fun Run is a sponsorship-based fundraiser where all Year 9 and 10 students, along with several senior PE and Health classes, are invited to participate. Leading up to the Fun Run, the students will seek support from their community by asking for sponsorships. Donations can be made through your Year 9 or 10 student's profile, allowing them to win prizes as they reach their goals, or you can contribute to the general donation page here
The Colour Run will be held at school on Tuesday, June 24th, and if we reach 20k, Mr Shanahan will be in for the biggest sliming yet!
