We have 5 students who have been selected in the Top 70 from over 100 entries in The Arts House Trust Secondary Art Awards. This competition has a wide audience reach, as it is run at Pah Homestead every year. There are fantastic prizes on offer, with first place being $1000. We are excited that the following students will have work on display in the gallery and have made the finalists selection.

September 11, 3:30 PM - Judging & Awards Announcement

This year, we are honoured to have contemporary Māori artist Brett Graham joining us as a guest judge, alongside The Arts House Trust Curatorial Team. He will announce the winners at our opening afternoon tea on Thursday, September 11, from 3:30 to 5 PM. Teachers, family, caregivers, and whānau are invited to join us. Light refreshments will be served. 

September 12 - October 19 - Finalists’ Exhibition

The finalists' exhibition will run from Friday, September 12, to Sunday, October 19, at The Arts House Trust at Pat Homestead. There's a café and beautiful grounds to explore if you want to make an afternoon of it. Visit one weekend to check out some art.
