Four students proudly represented Waitākere College at the Auckland Secondary School Diving Championships, held at West Wave Aquatic Centre. With competitors from more than 20 schools across Auckland, the standard was extremely high. Our team of Rhys Williams, Jonathan Clark, Antonia Rhind-Rushton, and Erica Paltridge performed exceptionally well, finishing second overall. Their strong technique and composure under pressure were key in securing valuable points for the team.

A special congratulations goes to Rhys Williams and Jonathan Clark, who both achieved outstanding results by finishing second overall in their respective age categories. Their consistency and skill stood out in a very competitive field.

Thank you to the parents and staff who attended and supported our divers throughout the day—the encouragement made a big difference. This was a fantastic achievement for our divers and a proud moment for Waitākere College.
