怀塔科拉学院庆祝中文周 Waitākere College celebrates Chinese Language Week

This past week, Waitākere College has been celebrating Chinese Language Week. Each day was filled with engaging activities designed to deepen students' appreciation for the rich language and vibrant culture of China.

Monday kicked off with creative fan and mask designing, where students designed Chinese fans and Beijing opera masks featuring elements like the Great Wall, dragons, and Chinese characters.
On Tuesday, students and staff practised Chinese calligraphy, learning to write their Chinese names and appreciating the beauty of each character.

Wednesday featured a fun cultural quiz on China’s history, language, and traditions, with many eager participants showing their knowledge and curiosity.
Thursday brought tasty Chinese snacks like sweet rice crackers and pancake cookies, enjoyed by all under the bubble.
