Two of our talented Year 12 students, Annabel Aitken and Amberlee Faavae, have achieved national recognition by winning the Judge's Choice Award at the Day One Film Challenge. Their documentary impressed the judging panel with its strong structure, engaging editing, and timely subject matter. The film received praise for its passion and high quality, with judges commenting, “Very well structured, edited and very topical,” and “You can feel the passion and love put into this doco.”

Representatives from Day One and Nikon visited the Year 12 assembly today to present Annabel and Amberlee with their exciting prizes. The prize package includes a Nikon Z30 camera kit, Day One merchandise, a $200 Prezzy Card, and a filmmaker mentorship session with the Day One team.
