ADHD no barrier to success
We are thrilled to share the inspiring story of one of our former students, Carl Reber, featured in the latest issue (#34) of Leaving School magazine. Carl's profile is a true testament to resilience and determination, showing how he's thriving in his career despite facing personal challenges.
As a young apprentice plumber, Carl has embraced his trade with passion and skill. Diagnosed with ADHD, he openly discusses how it presents hurdles but ultimately serves as no barrier to his success. "Having ADHD is no barrier for this young plumbing apprentice," the magazine highlights, capturing Carl's positive outlook and the support systems that have helped him excel.
From his time at our school to now, building a career in plumbing, Carl's journey reminds us all of the power of perseverance and the right opportunities. We couldn't be prouder!
The magazine arrives next Monday for our senior students, and you can read it online at oliverlee.co.nz/leavingschool-issue34/. Check out page 26 for the full story on Carl.
