Celebrating Excellence: Year 13 DVC Exhibition Showcases Outstanding Student Achievement

I could not be prouder of our Year 13 Design and Visual Communication students after this week's end-of-year exhibition. The quality of work on display was amazing, and the feedback from whānau, students, and staff members who attended was overwhelmingly positive.

Throughout the year, these students worked incredibly hard, developing their technical skills, creative thinking, and design processes to complete work worth 20 NCEA Level 3 credits. This week's exhibition was a true reflection of their dedication, talent, and growth as young designers.

The projects on display demonstrated a high level of design thinking and presentation skills that our students have developed. Each piece showcased a year of careful planning, ideation, and refinement—skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom.

Thank you to the whānau members who were able to attend and support our students. Your presence meant a great deal to them and to me.

Congratulations once again to all our Year 13 DVC students—I hope you are as proud of yourselves as I am of you.
