With the rugby season now finished here at Waitākere College, we’re incredibly proud of all our athletes, students, coaches, teachers and management for their effort and commitment throughout the year.

A huge thank you to our volunteers and parents who have continually gone above and beyond for our rangatahi. Your support truly makes a difference.

This season, we were fortunate to have experienced coaches leading our teams and a number of our players selected for representative honours. While results on the field didn’t always go our way, the growth and development we’ve seen in our athletes have been outstanding.

Looking ahead to 2026, we’re excited to get things started before Christmas with an Open Rugby Clinic on Friday, 22nd November 2025.

This event is open to:

• All Waitākere College students (current or future)
• Year 8s moving into Year 9, and Year 9 – 13 boys and girls.
• Anyone interested in coaching, managing, or supporting our rugby programme, you’re all welcome to join our village!

Our focus will be on basic fundamentals, mindset, and culture, creating a positive environment for everyone as we prepare for the 2026 season.
