Waitākere College is proud to field three teams in this year’s tennis season.

The girls’ team welcomed three new players - Chelsea Devcich-Wulf, Jhanna Gacutara, and Tayah Teller-Fuifui — who represented Waitākere College with pride in their tennis debuts. Despite the challenging heat, they showed determination and completed every match.

Special recognition goes to Jhanna, who fought through a thrilling singles match (7–6, decided by tiebreak) and a nail-biting doubles game (7–5) against Rutherford College Team 2.

Most members of the Boys’ Junior Tennis C team are new to the sport. They edged out One Tree Hill College 5–4 in their opening match, then fell 2–7 to Green Bay College in week two. Standout performances came from Abhishek Gottipalli and Casey Baker.
