Train Services Over Summer

Information from Auckland Transport

The Summer Rail Upgrades closure will enable a month of work on big programmes of work including the Rail Network Rebuild, the Level Crossing Removal Programme, and Henderson Station Upgrade. Look ahead towards 2026

Further level crossing replacements, CRL testing and signalling upgrades will mean we need to close the network again in February 2026 (Waitangi weekend), a two-day partial closure in March, during some of the April school holidays and select days between 12-19 April for full CRL timetable testing.
