The library is a welcoming, well-used space where students can read, relax, study, and connect with others. Whether you are a keen reader, a quiet studier, or just looking for a calm place to spend part of your day, there’s something here for you.
What’s on offer?
- A wide range of reading material, including novels, graphic novels, manga, and nonfiction
- Study tables and quiet spaces for focused work
- A cosy reading corner
- Community colouring and a shared jigsaw puzzle
- Lunchtime chess and card games
- Tech-Free Tuesdays, featuring board games and screen-free fun
Borrowing from the library
Students may borrow up to three books for three weeks. We encourage timely returns so everyone gets a chance to enjoy our collection. If more time is needed, renewals are usually no problem - just ask. Lost items will be charged at replacement cost.
Library catalogue & online access
Our library catalogue can be accessed from any device, even at home. Students can search the collection, reserve books, and explore excellent online resources at aiscloud.nz/WTK00
Meet the librarians
Our friendly librarians, Mrs Thyberg and Whaea Leigh, are always happy to help - whether that’s finding the next great read or supporting students with research and study needs.
