Waitākere College is proud to announce the appointment of our six Head Prefects for 2026. These students have been selected following a rigorous process that recognised leadership, service, integrity, and a strong commitment to the values of our school.

The Head Prefect team represents a diverse range of strengths and passions, but they share a common goal: to serve the school community with mana, empathy, and pride. Throughout their time at Waitākere College, each student has demonstrated leadership both inside and outside the classroom, consistently stepping up to support others and contribute positively to school life.

Our 2026 Head Prefects are:
Lance Breva, Dahil Ese, Bella Frost, Ezekiel  Marzuki, Natalia Royal, Benine Vavia.     

All prefects were presented at assembly this week with their prefect badges and honoured with ula lole (lolly leis) made by Benine's family to celebrate their achievement.
