The Year 12 Services Academy is now in the second and final week of the Services Academy Induction Course 2026, held at Royal New Zealand Air Force Base Auckland (Whenuapai). As the course nears its end, students have had the chance to visit 6 Squadron, operators of the SH-2G Seasprite helicopter, and 40 Squadron, which fly the Boeing 757 and C-130 J Super Hercules.

The Induction Course blends physical challenges, NCEA assessments, military routine, and personal growth. Students also gain first-hand knowledge of the New Zealand Defence Force and Police career pathways.
