On the 16th February the Services Academy Year 12 class attended the Services Academy Induction Course held at RNZAF Base Auckland (Whenuapai).  This is the two-week foundation course for our students.  

Some highlights for us included Christian Keys finishing first overall in the 6km Cross Country race, with Destiny Asiata being the second female overall.  There were more than 80 trainees from other schools competing.
Another highlight for Waitakere was when Xavier Trevor was awarded the certificate for the trainee who showed the most improvement in all aspects of training.
For those who passed or attempted the Induction Course, the following motto applies: "Who Dares Wins".
