The Komiti Pasifika hosted their first fono for the year on Thursday, 12 March, bringing together whānau and staff for an evening of Connection and Information sharing. During the fono, key updates were shared with families, including the following:

·  The new Checkpoints system for all senior subjects.

·  The use of SchoolBridge - download the App now.

·  Upcoming parent interviews on Thursday 26th March and Tuesday 31st March.

·  Focus on supporting strong pathways for our Junior students.

·  The Nu'u Toa programme for Senior students every Wednesday - starting in week 9.

·  Talanoa Ako Parents programme starting in late Term 2. 

Our invited Year 9 – 11 parents also had the opportunity to meet members of the Komiti Pasifika and be introduced to our Pasifika Prefects for 2026. The evening concluded with a special moment of celebration as we acknowledged our Medical Science students through their badge ceremony, recognising their commitment and achievements in the programme.
