Waitākere College's Boys’ and Girls’ Tennis teams stepped up to compete in a higher league this summer, and the results are very promising!

The Boys’ Team, led by Nicole Snook and captained by Lachlan Snook, under the coaching of Mr Lourenz, showed impressive consistency and sportsmanship, winning most of their matches. Their strong team spirit is definitely something to watch.

The Girls’ Team, under Ms Dabre’s management and Nancy Lim’s captaincy, brought fresh energy to the competition, winning 60% of their matches. They showed great improvement in doubles play and demonstrated a new level of competitiveness.

Top seeds: Lachlan, Toby, Abishek, Hokuto, Cassey, and Soro from the Boys’ Team, along with Marion, Helen, Nancy, and Saniya from the Girls’ Team, showcased excellent strategy and confidence on the court. New players Shreya and Riya also made valuable contributions to the Girls’ Team.

Overall, both teams are looking sharp - here’s to a successful season ahead!
