On March 21st and 22nd, three of our standout students—Anisha Yadav, Nancy Lim, and Tuyen La—represented our school at the Model United Nations (MUN) hosted by UN Youth NZ, a non-profit organisation that runs youth events throughout the year.
These students acted as diplomats for specific nations, navigating complex international relations and debating global policies by engaging in rigorous discussions regarding real-world issues and policy-making.
They pushed their capabilities to the limit through research, public speaking, and negotiation.
They are also evaluating the possibility of running a Fun-MUN in school! This would be a fantastic opportunity for other students to try their hand at debating and international relations in a more relaxed, school-based environment.
Stay tuned for more details.
