Lest We Forget

Our ANZAC Day Service offered a time for reflection, remembrance and empathy. Reflection for the original soldiers who set foot on Gallipoli in 1915, remembrance for those who did not return from war and empathy for those civilians who are affected by conflict.

The Year 12 and 13 Services Academies marched onto parade in front of a large Waitākere College audience. The students were inspected by Deputy Principal Phil Collins.

A special mention goes to Services Academy students Marley Diener, Kafoa Taukafa, Ielemia Foiaso, Sydrina Rountree, Trevor Xavier, Kitei Teoni, Joey Mesui and Alex Apelu, who held key appointments for the parade.

Ka maumahara tonu tātou ki a rātou.
We will remember them.
