This year, the PE Department introduced the Physical Education Student of the Month Award to recognise students who consistently embody The Waitākere Way through their attitude, effort, and behaviour in class. Rather than focusing on sporting ability, the award celebrates those who demonstrate learning, caring, and respect, show Manawanui, Mātauranga, and Aroha, and contribute positively to the learning environment.

The winning student in each year level receives a certificate and a Tuckshop voucher.
