Last week, 10 students who missed the Year 12 PE/SPT camp ventured into the Waitākere Ranges for the opportunity to apply their learning about risk management strategies in the outdoors. The group walked 7km, completing Comans Track and the Mercer Bay Loop before a visit to Karekare Falls. The weather made for excellent views and an enjoyable tramp. All of the students will now reflect on the risk management strategies back at school in order to complete their 2.7 assessment task.
