Engineering & Automotive Students Drive Innovation

Our Automotive Academy students have been hard at work turning raw materials into remarkable, functioning vehicles. From heavy-duty engineering marvels to nimble custom rides, the workshop has been a hub of intense creativity and hard work.

Year 13 Engineering student Peter is nearing completion on his massive bicycle project - a true testament to advanced fabrication and design. This ambitious project actually began last year in Year 12. The most striking and challenging feature? The integration of a full-sized car spare wheel into the bicycle frame! Overcoming the immense challenges of custom hub alignment, structural integrity, and weight distribution, Peter has shown incredible perseverance. It is a fantastic example of the high-level engineering skills our senior students develop.
