The annual Kate Edger Foundation Schools Competition is now open.

As Kate Edger Foundation celebrates 21 years of empowering women in education, this year's theme is “Our Pathways", which can be interpreted in many ways. 

We encourage students to explore the people, experiences, challenges, and/or opportunities that have influenced their paths and inspire their futures.  They may draw inspiration from the pathway of Kate Edger and her lasting legacy.  Students can apply in any way (art, written piece, poetry, video, music, film, etc) in which our theme resonates with them.   

Prizes as follows:

1st Prize: $1,000 

2nd Prize: $500 

3rd Prize: $300 

2 x Highly Commended Awards: $100 each 

Finalists' work will be showcased on our Kate Edger Foundation website, and the overall winner will be invited to the 2026 Kate Edger Awards Ceremony on 30th August.
