This term, a group of four very hardworking Year 9 students read and became experts on six books between them. The team members were Anahera Kairau, Chloe Kern, Cassie Koon, and Etta Bamborough.

The team competed against other schools in the Northwest area on Wednesday night. While they didn't place, they had a lot of fun and represented Waitākere College beautifully. They made us so proud!

A big thank you to Year 12 student Lola Porter, who was an amazing mentor and source of encouragement to the team, and to Mr McGhee from the English Department, who also supported them.
