At Waitākere College, house points are a badge of honour, earned through everything from literacy activities and sports teams to school service and living out our core values of Learning, Caring and Respect. Every week throughout the term, our three proud houses, Aroha, Manawanui, and Mātauranga, have been going head-to-head.

Highlights from Term 2
It’s been a busy and vibrant term! Students logged impressive efforts across a wide range of activities to lift their house tallies, including: Writers Toolbox, Standout performances in the performing arts and the annual Talent Quest, dedication from our student volunteer ambassadors and incredible effort during the Rotary Can Drive.

Term 2 Results
The competition was fierce this term, with only a handful of points separating all three houses!

Overall Leaderboard (Year-to-Date)

Aroha's strong Term 2 push has put them to the top of the leaderboard for the overall school year, but with Manawanui following close by, the race for the House Shield is far from over!

• 🥇 1st Place: Aroha — 1,583 points
• 🥈 2nd Place: Manawanui — 1,566 points
• 🥉 3rd Place: Mātauranga — 1,422 points
