This term, we welcomed 12 new international students to Waitākere College, joining us from Chile, Germany, Italy, Japan, and Russia.

We feel privileged that these students have chosen our school, especially given the distance from their home countries and families."

Our homestay families play a vital role in shaping each student’s New Zealand experience. We are deeply grateful to those who open their homes and make our students feel truly welcome and part of their family.

We also appreciate the homestay families who introduce students to the sights of Auckland and beyond—New Zealand is a truly unique country! The homestay experience is often what our students remember most and share with family and friends when they return home. It’s these memories that they will fondly look back on as adults."
