Last Friday night, our students dressed to impress and enjoyed an incredible evening at the Waitākere College 2026 Great Gatsby-themed ball! It was a fantastic night filled with great music, dancing, laughter and plenty of memories made with friends.

A huge thank you to the Ball Committee (Annabel Aitken, Kirsteine Dineros, Aeiden Felipe, Hlaina Goffin, Emanuel Leung-Wo, Lhani-Aroha Maagdenberg, Mele Mafi, Micah Ngaeruaiti, Artur Starovoit, Marley Stanaway, Kalita Tautaiolevao, Chardonnay Viviers and Anisha Yadav) as well as Miss Gardyne, Miss Storer, Miss Harris and Mrs Tausā for all their hard work in organising the event and making the night such a success.

We would also like to thank White Door Photography and Memory Go Round for capturing the special moments throughout the evening, DJ Twenty 7 for keeping the dance floor going with an amazing playlist, and LNT Event Decorations for transforming Ellerslie Event Centre into a spectacular ball venue.

It was certainly a night to remember, and we hope everyone had an awesome time.
