Our highly anticipated market days are held every year by our Year 11 commerce students.
Students start a food business in term 2, they complete a basic business plan, decide on the promotional aspects, purchase and make all the products on sale, and then during one lunch period, they need to sell their products with the concept of making a profit. The business students end up taking a lot more away from the exercise than just the profit. This is an enjoyable time for students purchasing as well as commerce students to see if their business plan will succeed!

Running a business gives students fantastic real-life skills as well as being part of the young enterprise scheme and they also gain credits towards NCEA.

Students run 2 market days in total, Day 2 is Wednesday 6th July, remember these are cash-only events.
