Students Back Where They Belong

It’s been a long break, but students are finally back where they belong. We welcomed our first students into school on Wednesday, 2nd of February.

Amid smiles and laughs after time apart, students got to work planning their future. With last year’s results in hand, our seniors could confirm their courses for the coming year.

After a quick chat on the field, students had conversations with their assigned CSI (Course Selection Interview) tutor to help them make good decisions about their future.

Our students have done incredibly well over the past year, achieving decent NCEA results despite difficult circumstances. As a school, this year is all about providing good pathways inside of school and ensuring pathways exist after students leave. University and apprenticeships await many of our students, making this year important for building solid foundations. This year won’t be without its challenges, but our students will be well supported.
